Just days after quitting Barnet FC, Edgar Davids is at San Siro for Milan-Verona amid rumours he’ll join Clarence Seedorf’s staff.
The Barnet player-manager terminated his contract by mutual consent this week and was spotted in Milan for tonight’s Serie A match.
"I had come to watch Juventus and today I’ll see Milan, because I like football,” Davids told Mediaset Premium.
"I think Seedorf made the right choice and I hope he’ll do great things at Milan. I am happy as I am. I think Clarence will do well, because he has the right staff and that is the most important characteristic.”
Seedorf is working with Mauro Tassotti, who was Massimiliano Allegri’s assistant manager, and Hernan Crespo confirmed he was asked to join the staff as a specific ‘striker coach.’
